Just checked the date, did not realize it's a week day, this may present a problem for some with time off from work or self employed.
That I can understand, many are supporting the effort with donations and memberships to organizations.

What ever we do it's in the right direction, showing our support.

Exactly why I haven't committed to going as of yet. With the economy the way it has been if there is work I will be working. If I do not have to work I will be there!!

I hope the sign ups get better than this. I have to pay for the bus by Jan 25th. If not we will have to find an alternative plan. I cannot afford to front the money and hope people sign up.

I saw this was advertised on Jay Manns blog, how about some other websites such as Fishermans Headquarters, fishingreportsnow.com, Newjerseyhunter.com Bettyandnicks.com. Even hanging some flyers up around local stores may do the trick. I'll be back down at school or else I would be going with you guys.

Skip Please let us know if the bus will be leaving from your shop.  If it is not I am going to have to get a ticket from another location.  I will be making the trip one way or another.  It is very said that people do not care about what is happing and they are willing to take it up the A$$ and let the feds run all over them.

If you do not go I personal do not want to here you bitch about the regs.    sad sad sad

Agreed. Every single captain, mate, marina owner, bait and tackle shop owner, etc. should absolutely be making this trip. In addition, every angler who possibly can should be there. It is understandable that in these economic times it is tough to take off work. There are plenty of retired guys and those working who can take a sick day or something. I hope it is not the old story that it is easy to bitch and complain, but too tough to get off your ass to try and do something. Plus, I have it on a reliable source that Skip will be doing some of his song and dance routines on the bus for entertainment.

Its time for a sick day.

There was a break through friday with the ssc.  They have raised the quote for sea bass now we have to see how that will effect our season.

I would like to thank Capt. Adam for speaking friday and all others that were there to hear the meeting.

Flukeguy, we might have to start calling you ex Flukeguy, if these guys push that two fish limit at 19.5 inches thru. Everyman counts.

Skip, I ran a free half-page ad for you advertising the bus trip. It will be on the inside back cover of the Feb. issue. We'll be handing them out at our booth at the A.C. boat show so lots of people will get them.

I attached the PDF of the page. Val's regular ad is on the same page.
