The Chumbucket was opened in the Spring of 2000 by my good friends George and Sherry Molineaux. During the summer of 2007 while fishing with George, he informed me that for personal reasons they would be closing the Bucket for good. I couldn't let the Bucket go, it was almost a second home to me. In July of 2007 my wife Nancy, and I purchased the Bucket from George and Sherry (and it since has become my first home).We have adhered to George and Sherry's philosophy's about service and prices. We even adopted Georges motto "WE'RE NOT HERE TO GET RICH, WE'RE HERE TO MAKE FRIENDS."
The only changes we have made are for more customer convenience, such as hunting, fishing license, more hunting supplies. We have been approved by the ATF for a FFL, and are currently waiting State approval. When the State approval is received we will offer special order guns, we will not stock guns, we will stock ammo, and be capable of any number of special order items. The last change we made was to have Rod from NJ Outdoors Media make us this great new web site.
Now an update!! On March 1, 2010 we moved the Chumbucket from the previous location, 100 yards north on Rte 9 to the old paint ball store. It was a move for the best, more room, nicer building and alot
more parking.
